Flow Template: Simple Survey Reminder Email

Starting in version 4.37, Simple Survey comes packaged with a Flow Template to send an email reminder to a contact who received a survey, started taking it, but hasn't completed it within 7 days. This Flow can be further customized by a seasoned Salesforce Administrator, but Vicasso won't be able to provide support if it doesn't function as expected.

To locate the Flow named 'Simple Survey Survey Reminder Email', navigate to Salesforce Setup | Process Automation | Flows.

Since Salesforce made this change in '23, please ensure that you edit the "Configure Sender Details" section of the Flow before deploying it, as the Simple Survey Site Guest User cannot send emails.

Click the "Send Reminder Email Action" element and locate that section on the right-hand panel.

Sender Type = OrgWideEmailAddress

Sender Email Address = the Org-Wide Address you wish to use to send the reminder email from.

Please also ensure that the "Related Record ID" in the Send Email action is populated correctly, with the "Triggering simplesurvey_Survey__c> Record ID".

The email template used by the Flow is located in Salesforce Setup | Classic Email Templates | Simple Survey | Survey Completion Reminder, and looks as follows:

The Flow comes deactivated by default, so activate it before using it.
