A planned push upgrade for Simple Survey 3.64 happened in March 2022. However, a newer version is already available on the AppExchange.

Please read the following steps needed to complete this survey migration.

Starting in May '22, if your Org falls under the following scenarios, Vicasso's App Support Team will closely work with you through a proactive case to make sure your Org is ready to receive the Fall '22 version of Simple Survey​​​​​​:

• An outdated version of Simple Survey (3.63 or earlier)
• Templates generated in versions 3.0 or older of Simple Survey.
• Surveys with custom landing pages
• Surveys made with the old Template Generator (deprecated in 2016)

If your survey looks similar to the following, it will need to be upgraded:

Vicasso will assist in recreating the surveys in the recent Survey Builder, and/or make sure that old templates are upgraded to the new landing page style.

You should upgrade if:

1) You see the Update Available option in the Survey Builder, you can proactively upgrade your own surveys at any time. Just click on the Update Available link and follow the steps on the screen. By the end of the process, you should generate a new survey email template, which should be replaced in any local automation used to fire the survey.


2) You manually check each active survey to see if they're updated by running a query on the Developer Console of your Org and see a result that is NOT Eclipse.

If your Organization specifically chose to not receive the push upgrade and keeps using the old-style surveys, Vicasso will be unable to provide any support moving forward! If there are issues with Simple Survey, Vicasso's first troubleshooting step will be to upgrade and migrate your existing surveys to the new landing page style!

If you have custom surveys and Vicasso specifically recommended that you do not update them to the new landing page style, you should not update to the new version of Simple Survey coming out in the Fall '22. If you upgrade to the new version, your custom surveys may break!

If your Organization opted out of receiving automatic push upgrades, we recommend that you manually upgrade Simple Survey from the AppExchange to avoid any issues with the upcoming Fall '22 release.

Note: It is possible that the landing pages as you have them today break and stop functioning in the new version of Simple Survey that will come out in the Fall '22. Please open a case with Vicasso Apps Support if you encounter any issues. You can send an email to simplesurvey@vicasso.com.
