Email to Case Premium uses Organization-Wide Addresses for sending out emails and respects its own controls for limiting access, configured through Salesforce Setup. When non-administrators or users not specified in the configurations of the Organization-Wide Addresses try to add a comment and send an email they receive the following error: Sending e-mail with new comment failed: SendEmail failed. Symptoms

Users receive an error when sending an email through the New Comment page. A comment may be added, but the email is not sent.

Solutions

Users with Profiles that do not have access to the Organization-Wide Address(es) configured in Email to Case Premium will receive this error.

Navigate to Setup | Administer | Email Administration | Organization-Wide Addresses.
Click Edit next to the Organization-Wide Address(es) you are using and grant access to each profile that will be adding comments and sending emails. Alternatively, select the "Allow All Profiles to Use this From Address" option to open up access to all users.
