What changes in the new Case Merge Premium version?

Upon upgrading to the latest version of Case Merge Premium, the old "Duplicate Detector" component is automatically replaced by the new version. This version is now combined with the "Merge with Recent Cases" component.

Additionally, the "Find Duplicate Cases" page will also be deprecated. The "Search-by-Text" functionality from that page can now be accessed by clicking the "Find More Duplicates" button in the new version of the component.

The new "Duplicate Detector" Component:

Streamlines functionality, bringing everything into one place.

Considerations for deprecated functionality:

• Old Duplicate Detector component - automatically updated to the new component (no further action needed!)

• Merge with Recent Cases component - this component has been deprecated and should be removed from the page. (See instructions below.)

• Find Duplicate Cases page - deprecated; however, this can still be accessed in the Case Merge Premium app through the "Case Merge Premium" tab, or by clicking the "Find more" button in previous version of the Duplicate Detector component.

How to remove the "Merge with Recent Cases" component from the case page layout:

1) From a case, click the Salesforce gear icon and then "Edit Page," or navigate to the Lightning App Builder

2) Remove the "Merge with Recent Cases" component by clicking the trash icon on the top right corner.
