How do I choose whether to hide or delete files by default?

File Slayer offers two distinct modes to handle digital clutter:

• Hide files from view to delete later (Recommended)
• Delete files immediately

Before version 5, File Slayer only offered immediate deletion. Email messages would display broken images, which looked unprofessional when communicating with customers.

Now, File Slayer hides blocked files, preventing broken image placeholders in email messages, while cleaning up clutter for your users.

What are some of the advantages of the new files (file Slayer) Component?

Managing files shouldn't feel like a chore. The new component transforms the standard Salesforce Files experience into a high-performance workspace by cutting through the clutter, making it easy to spot the files that matter most.

You get everything you expect from Salesforce Files, plus smarter controls:

• Slaybot automatically removes the digital noise so you can focus on the files that actually matter. 
• You can manually block specific files to keep your view clean. Files can be unblocked if needed.
• Hover previews let you scan files at a glance without clicking or opening each one.
• Spot the right file faster by sorting by file type.
• The "Clean View" automatically groups duplicate files into a single entry, keeping your list organized and easy to navigate.
• The action dropdown menu shows all actions that can be taken with files, including blocking and unblocking.

If you ever need to see all blocked and duplicate files, toggle "Clean View" off to reveal every file on the record.
