Rapid Products is a native Salesforce application that helps Sales Agents add products to Opportunities and Quotes faster and with fewer clicks. After configuring Rapid Products, your agents will be able to:
- Easily switch between price books
- Quickly add products to Opportunities and Quotes
- Apply percentage, amount, and global discounts
- See real-time calculations in the Totals Component
Rapid Products uses only standard objects so it is compatible with existing Opportunities and Quotes, and their line items. Your data is unaffected even if you uninstall.
What does Rapid Products do?
Sales Agents can edit Opportunities and Quotes from one single place, helping them be more productive and win more opportunities!
The type-ahead search allows for a quick selection of products, which can be easily rearranged with the drag-and-drop controls, as well as cloned or deleted. As new line items are added, real-time calculations are displayed in the Totals Component.
Discounts can be applied across all line items at once using the ‘Apply Global Discount’ feature.
Row Colors:
Charles noticed that Rapid Products applies different colors to the line items’ rows, so he and the other Sales Agents should pay close attention when editing Quotes and Opportunities:
Notes:
- For horizontal scrolling through the line items, press SHIFT + scroll the mouse as you normally would.
- If you notice performance issues on records with multiple line items and fields to display, Vicasso recommends enabling Lightning Web Security in Setup - Session Settings.
- The Apply Global Discount will only be visible when there is a discount field included in the field set used with Rapid Products.
