The Files (File Slayer) Component belongs on the record page for Cases, Accounts, Opportunities, and other standard or custom objects where unnecessary or duplicate files are commonly present. Replacing the standard Salesforce Files Related List, it gives end users a more informative and efficient way to interact with files. Productivity is top of mind!

When enabled, Slaybot automatically removes social media icons and company logos. Users can manually block other unnecessary files, keeping their view clean. Files can be marked as favorites so they're easy to find.

To view blocked files, untoggle the "Clean View." If needed, users can unblock files to make them visible.

The record page view of the component, pictured above, displays up to 6 files. When more are present, click "View All" to see the full list, along with more details about the file, such as the file type and source, to see where the files are coming from. When there are multiple sources or copies of the files, a number is displayed in parentheses to indicate how many. To easily scan through and find files, hover over the small icons for a larger preview.

All of Salesforce's standard actions for files are here and can be performed based on the running user's permissions. Blocking and unblocking files is exclusive to licensed users of File Slayer.

Clicking a file opens up a custom File Viewer modal with easy navigation and text extraction from images.
