Slaybot uses neural network technology to identify social icons, corporate logos, and other nuisance files, never transmitting data outside your Salesforce org. It's native!
Slaybot runs on individual records in the Files (File Slayer) Lightning component as soon as it's visible on the page, and can be manually run on bulk records from the Library, evaluating image files up to 3 MB. Non-image files, such as PDF, Word, and Excel, are not processed.
Important notes:
1) If your company has policies that items such as logos, icons, and banners should not be removed from their related records, do not enable this feature. Please consider your internal policies before enabling Slaybot.
2) Enabling LWS is a prerequisite to enabling Slaybot, and it may cause issues with existing components in your Org. Vicasso recommends only enabling it if you're confident that nothing in your Org will be impacted. Please test in a Sandbox before deploying.
3) Slaybot uses ML5.js and TensorFlow.js to evaluate whether images should be slayed. The licenses can be found here and here, respectively.
4) Slaybot only detects images, specifically the following file extensions: BMP, DIB, GIF, JFIF, JPE, JPEG, JPG, PNG, TGA, TIF, TIFF, and WEBP.
5) Graphics acceleration needs to be enabled in the users' browsers for Slaybot to run without freezing Salesforce pages. If it's disabled when Slaybot would run, a warning message will be displayed in the component, and Slaybot will be disabled.
6) If still using the legacy component, Slaybot needs to be enabled in the component's properties once added to the page.
