Label Translation for Components/Buttons/Pages
Title
Label Translation for Components/Buttons/Pages
Description

Similar to what we do in E2CP, let's allow users of CMP to translate components, buttons, and pages.

Multi-lingual customer service agents handling localized queues need custom components to reflect their native language settings. Currently, the Case Merge Premium (CMP) application elements—such as buttons, text strings, and Lightning components—remain in English even if the rest of the Salesforce org is localized. This deviates from standard Salesforce native application expectations and causes confusion or delay for international support agents.

Core User Need (JTBD)

  • When: Multi-lingual support agents are managing case workflows in global Salesforce environments...
  • I want to: View all CMP page texts, buttons, and custom Lightning components translated into my local language...
  • So I can: Process and merge duplicate cases efficiently, reduce training time, and prevent user errors caused by a language barrier.

Technical Recommendation

Refactor application text structures by replacing hardcoded UI strings with Salesforce Custom Labels. By making these components translation-ready, Salesforce administrators can easily leverage the native Translation Workbench to localize the tool for international support organizations.
