This release builds on the Merge page redesign with full support for your org's brand colors and dark mode, and adds a setup-time validation check that catches child objects with unique fields before they can cause a merge to fail partway through.

Action Items:

1. Child Objects With Unique Fields Must Be Configured Before Merging — Setup now blocks child objects containing unique fields from being included in a merge unless either 'Reparent' or 'Delete Original' is enabled for that object. If you already include such an object in your merge configuration, review it after upgrading and enable one of the two settings.

UI/UX

The "Deliver the Best Experience" section of the setup wizard was updated, and admins now see messaging aligned to the current product offering, with a button that links to the Service Experience Suite. The previous link directed admins to an assessment that no longer exists.

The Merge page now fully respects your org's brand colors and is compatible with dark mode. The Merge with Recent Case and Duplicate Detector components are also dark-mode compatible; only the Vicasso "V" remains a fixed brand color.

Security & Access

The Case Merge Premium Setup tab now includes a permission check on load. Admins who lack the "Customize Application" permission see a clear error message directing them to contact their System Administrator, and the tab no longer attempts to load setup content, preventing a confusing, broken experience for users who were never intended to configure the product.

Automation & Reliability

A new validation check during setup now detects child objects that contain unique fields. Objects in this category must have either 'Reparent' or 'Delete Original' enabled before they can be included in a merge. This eliminates a class of mid-merge failures that occurred when the cloning process attempted to duplicate values on unique fields, ensuring merges either complete cleanly or are blocked at configuration time, not during execution.

Setup Page Layout and Child Object Tables Not Loading — The Setup page failed to render child object tables and suffered from cascading layout issues, including misaligned headers and footers, an incorrectly sized scroll area, and a Duplicate Criteria modal that appeared unexpectedly when loading that tab. The rendering sequence and internal load logic have been corrected, so all tables and UI components display as expected. (v6.1)

"[NoErrorObjectAvailable] Script Error" When Toggling Automerge Settings — Changing the "Enable Automerge for this criteria?" setting while "Perform Automerge Detection" was set to "On Case Creation" triggered a disruptive error modal. This has been resolved. (v6.1)
