Here's a step-by-step guide on how to configure User Access Policies to automatically manage licenses and permission sets for Vicasso apps:

Steps to Configure a User Access Policy for Permission Set Assignment:

1. Navigate to User Access Policies:

   • From Setup, in the Quick Find box, type User Access Policies, and then select User Access Policies.

2. Create a New User Access Policy:

   • Click New.

3. Define Basic Policy Information:

   • Policy Name: Enter a descriptive name for your policy (e.g., "Email to Case Premium Access," "Case Merge Premium Access").
   • Order: Indicate the order for which active policy is applied if a user meets the criteria for multiple policies.
   • Description (Optional): Provide a brief description of the policy's purpose.

4. Configure the User Criteria:

   • Click "Edit Criteria" on the user access policy's detail page.
   • In the "Define User Criteria" section, specify the criteria for the users to whom the policy will apply. You can have:
     • Up to 3 filters for applicable users
     • Up to 10 filters on standard and custom user fields of type Checkbox, Number, Picklist, or Text
     • Multiple roles or profiles referenced in the same filter using the In operator

5. Configure the License and Permission Set Assignment Actions:

   • In the "Define Actions" section, select "Grant" or "Revoke" from the Action picklist, select "Package License" as the Target, and select the Vicasso app you are managing as the Value.
